Looking for a delicious way to power up your mornings or refuel after a workout? This Chunky Monkey Protein Smoothie is the perfect blend of indulgence and nutrition!

Packed with plant-based protein, creamy banana, rich cacao, and a touch of peanut butter, it’s like dessert in a glass—with a healthy twist. Whether you need a quick breakfast or a post-gym pick-me-up, this smoothie will satisfy your sweet tooth while fueling your body. Plus, it's dairy-free, gluten-free, and easy to whip up in just minutes.


This protein smoothie was created for my adoration of the OG Ben and Jerrys ice cream flavour and a week where I was suffering with a severe jaw infection and was unable to eat solid foods. This smoothie has 52g protein, 11g fibre, and is 588 calories.


Ingredients

  • 300ml alpro protein milk

  • 100ml water

  • 35g scoop vanilla vegan protein powder

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 frozen banana, sliced

  • 1 tbsp oats

  • 1/2 tbsp Naturya Organic Chia+ Chocolate powder (or 1 tsp chia seeds & 1 tsp cacao powder)


Method

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen banana, peanut butter, protein powder, cacao powder/chia seed mix, soya milk, oats and water.

  2. Blend on high until smooth and creamy, making sure all ingredients are fully combined. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.

  3. Pour the smoothie into a glass or a to go container for a grab and go protein-packed treat!


VVitch Tips

  • If you want a thicker texture of smoothie, add ice cubes.

  • If you want a sweeter smoothie, add some dates or a small drizzle of maple syrup.

  • Feel free to change out peanut butter for your favourite nut butter.
