Ingredients
4-8 Plant based Chick'n thighs (I highly recommend "This Isn't" brand)
2 Garlic Cloves (crushed)
1 tbsp vegan honey or maple syrup
2 tbsp soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
1 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tsp hot chilli powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
Pinch of sea salt
Fresh Chilli (optional - chopped)
Method
In a large bowl, add honey, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice, chilli, and spices. Mix all the ingredients together.
Add the plant based alternative chick'n and coat with marinade. Leave to marinate for 30 mins or more - I like to make this in the morning to cook in the evening.
Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan assisted/ Gas Mark 5, place the marinated thighs onto a roasting tray lined with baking paper.
Lightly drizzle a neutral oil over the chick'n and cook for 25-30 mins, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
Once cooked, serve with rice, brocolli, and garnish with chopped spring onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
