As the weather starts to turn we look towards comforting recipes to honour the season and nothing screams Autumn more than my Vegan Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheeze.

Welcome back to the VVitch Kitchen, where plant-based goodness meets the flavours of the season! Today, we're diving into a creamy, dreamy treat that’s perfect for Autumn: Vegan Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheeze.


Whether you're spreading it on bagels, dolloping it on French toast, or just sneaking spoonfuls straight from the pot, this dairy-free delight is bursting with autumnal flavors and is a must-try for any pumpkin lover.

Something about pumpkin spice makes me all toasty inside, readying myself for my favourite season where warm blankets, fluffy socks and scented candles return.


Join me as we whip up this luscious, spiced cheeze that's as wholesome as it is indulgent—perfect for adding a cosy twist to your favourite dishes!


Ingredients

  • 200g firm tofu (torn into bite sized chunks)

  • 30g cashew nuts (soaked in boiled water for 15 minutes)

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp virgin coconut oil

  • 150-200ml plant milk

  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 1 -2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/2 - 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

  • 1/4 tsp all spice

  • pinch of salt


Method

  1. Add all of your ingredients into a high powered blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Taste your mixture and adjust to your liking - Remember you can always add, but you can't take away!

  3. Store your cream cheeze in an airtight container and leave to firm up in the fridge for 1-2 hours.

  4. Once firm enjoy your pumpkin spice cream cheeze however you wish.


My boys, who taste test almost every recipe, devoured their cream cheeze on toasted fruit teacakes. (It got a score 9.35 out of 10).
